Child Protection and Wellbeing

NIRN-Nepal believes in creating safer environment for children to ensure child protection and their overall wellbeing. For this, NIRN-Nepal has developed Channels of Hope for Child Protection (CoH CP) manual to capacitate faith leaders and communities to address child protection issues and to support and advocate for children’s rights, promote positive discipline and strive to prevent other forms of violence against children, whilst fostering a wider enabling environment to strengthen both formal and non-formal elements of child protection system.

The active participation of religious leaders has had a positive effect on the student enrollment campaign. It is commendable to be able to enroll 766 children in school. This shows the importance of working together in the education sector.
