Nepali society is largely guided by fatalism and dependency on their destiny, and as a result of this, a large number of people living in vulnerable situations seem to believe that they cannot change or come out of their situations. Each religious group has its own worldview which is a powerful asset for development. NIRN-Nepal works with a behavior change model to address the dependency mindsets of people and the way they view their world through livelihood interventions by mobilizing skills, knowledge, resources, and capacities to empower and transform their lives.
